Energy Efficiency and Emission Reduction Cooperation Seminar

Seminar on Friday the 25th of October 2024 09.30 – 12.00 at Danish Industry

China is on track to smash its 2030 CO2 peak emissions target, with the peak now likely to occur in 2024 or 2025. Among multiple other ambitious climate targets, Shanghai is selected as China’s pilot city for ESG reporting and an extensive array of policies set to drive the development greener still.

Increased energy efficiency will play a large role in achieving this, and the Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) drives much of this policy development.

A leading team from SEEC led by Mr. Qin Hongbo visits DI to present Shanghai’s green transition and decarbonization plans, with particular focus on areas of opportunities for Danish and Western companies, where Shanghai seeks knowledge, inspiration and collaboration.

Following this presentation, Mr. Kaare Sandholt Chief Expert, China National Renewable Energy Centre will offer perspectives on Sino/Danish Energy efficiency cooperation, and members will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.
