DANISH-SWEDISH DEFENCE INDUSTRY FORUM

Connect with the Swedish defence industry to create new partnerships, explore business opportunities and potential joint initiatives at our embassy events in conjunction with DALO Industry Days.

The Swedish Embassy in Copenhagen and Business Sweden, in collaboration with Dansk Industri FOS and SOFF, invites you to participate in a speed-dating session and networking reception to deepen industrial collaboration in the defence sector. The two activities aim to address two priorities:

1. Securing production and critical supply chains in our defence industries to strengthen resilience and reduce strategic dependencies

2. Contributing to a more competitive and resilient Nordic technological and industrial base through practical cooperation and innovation

SWEDISH MILITARY SPENDING AT FULL SPEED
Sweden is planning the largest rearmament since the Cold War, which involves a loan-financed defense investment from this year until 2035, which could total SEK 300 billion. In this context, there is a growing need to explore a broader Nordic framework for industrial collaboration, contributing to what can be seen as a joint security and resilience agenda for the region. The need for quick deliveries in a rapidly growing Nordic defence market calls for more collaboration across our industries to satisfy the demand.

DALO Industry Days is the largest exhibition in Scandinavia showcasing equipment primarily from the defence industry. We expect a strong presence by the Swedish defence industry and would like to grasp the opportunity to forge closer even closer connections between the Danish and Swedish defence industry by extending the stay for an embassy reception on the final day of the exhibition followed by a speed-dating session in the morning the day after.
