EU-Kenya Business Forum 2025 in Nairobi, 12-14 May

Join a delegation to Nairobi including participation in EU-Kenya Business Forum and bilateral meetings organised in cooperation with local Danish representations.

Kenya and the European Union (EU) are key economic partners. The EU is the largest export destination for Kenyan products, and the market opportunities for Danish companies are growing in Kenya and East Africa. This delegation is centred around EU-Kenya Business Forum 2025.

The backdrop for this year’s forum is the EPA trade agreement between Kenya and the EU, which entered into force July 1st 2024. The Business Forum is jointly organised by the EU Delegation, EU Member States embassies, the government of Kenya and key Kenyan stakeholders. Following the successful first edition in 2023, the second edition will take place in Nairobi on 12-13 May 2025 under the theme “Digitalising Trade”. The Forum will bring together high-level policymakers, private sector leaders, innovators, and development partners to explore how digital transformation can serve as a catalyst for enhancing trade efficiency, increasing market access, and promoting sustainable and inclusive growth. The Forum has a strong focus on B2B matchmaking and an app will be available to book meetings with potential partners and clients ahead of time.

In addition to the Business Forum Danish Industry and the Royal Danish Embassy in Nairobi will organise a day of bilateral meetings with key stakeholders, tailormade to the sector and wishes of the participating Danish companies.
