Kenya-Denmark: Joining forces against climate crisis
Can private sector investments meet local adaptation needs?
On 22 September from 4.00–5.30 pm, the Danish media Globalnyt.dk together with the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) and Danida Fellowship Centre, will put the spotlight on a highly topical question for Denmark’s international engagement and development cooperation:
Can the need for local solutions to the climate crisis create positive opportunities for the private sector and lead to new partnerships?
The event will bring together Danish and Kenyan stakeholders for a discussion on solutions and challenges related to climate adaptation.
Drawing on Kenyan experiences, the event will provide a forum for dialogue on how Danish expertise, companies and partnerships can work together with local actors and respond to local needs in Kenya. At the same time, the event will facilitate new networks between the Kenyan representatives of the Flloca delegation, researchers and the Danish business community, including DI’s Danish African Business Network.
