A fresh start for Guinea-Bissau

Guinea-Bissau might be small in size, but they are large in ambitions. In 2015, Guinea-Bissau adopted the Terra Ranka, a new strategic and operational plan that is set to completely change the economic landscape of Guinea-Bissau by 2025. Many countries and partners have already welcomed Guinea-Bissau's new vision, and more than EUR 1.3 billion has been pledged to spur the state's renewal forward. The country has already deployed several projects and programmes, which will lay the foundation for the transformation.

Guinea-Bissau's goal to become an attractive, unified and well-governed country is a call for Danish companies looking for entering new markets with increasing purchasing power and to contribute to the construction of this future growth economy of West Africa.

Terra Ranka has identified six strategic axes crucial for the success of the program. The axes include an ambitious plan of digitalization and a transition to one of the most sophisticated and efficient infrastructures within urban management, construction, energy, and processing in Africa.
