Healthcare delegation to Cairo, Egypt

Danish Industry and the Danish Embassy in Cairo invite Danish companies to take part in a tailored three-day programme in Cairo from 16–18 June 2026. The programme includes meetings with public authorities, a visit to a major healthcare company, participation in a B2B seminar, and attendance at the ‘Africa Health ExCon’ fair.

This export promotion will offer insights to the Egyptian and African market and the opportunity to meet with potential partners. The trip will be conducted to target both companies already operating in the market and companies that wishes to enter Egypt and the African market.

Why participate?

Egypt has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Denmark during the state visit to Denmark in December 2024. An entire section of the agreement is devoted to promotion of “closer cooperation in health care sector utilizing Danish competencies and expertise to support Egypt’s ambitions to expand universal health care to all governorates by 2035.” The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also published the “Africa’s Strategy” that expanded the embassy in Egypt and made it a hub for North African. These two significant steps mean that the bilateral trade is increasing.

Egypt is currently experiencing significant development in the healthcare sector with extensive investments in both the public and private sectors. There is a strong demand for advanced solutions within medical technology, health IT, and hospital equipment – areas where Danish companies have a strong position through innovative products and high expertise. By joining the delegation, your company will have the opportunity to meet decision-makers, build relevant networks, and explore concrete cooperation opportunities in a market with substantial growth potential.
