Invitation to high Level Forum on Sub-Saharan Africa

Sub-Saharan Africa - What's Next? Political, Social, and Economic Prospects post-covid

The world’s youngest continent is awakening to a post-covid situation with continued positive GDP growth projections, optimism in sectors such as ICT, food and agriculture, energy and infrastructure, and with international partners looking to support a move from aid to trade. But risks are also lurking as political instability makes its mark across the region, public debt ceilings continue to be raised and cost of doing business increases, as a result of both domestic and global volatility.

So what’s next for businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa? How may the opportunities be harnessed and risks mitigated, as we look to build sustainable businesses to the benefit of both African partners and Danish businesses?  The Trade Council and DI would like to invite you to a High Level Forum where Ambassadors from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Kenya will share an economic and political analysis, as a basis for an informal exchange on insights and experiences.

Sign up by sending an email to Jens Holst-Nielsen no later than the 8th of July.
