Denmark has ambitious climate targets, and COP31 will be another opportunity to showcase Denmark’s international green leadership, as well as the green solutions needed to reach these targets. Therefore, the partners behind the pavilion have agreed to build a shared Danish Pavilion in the Blue Zone at COP31 again. This includes an agreement to secure Blue Zone accreditation for Danish company representatives participating in a Danish shared Pavilion. COP31 ensures two Blue Zone passes for each company as an official partner of the Danish Pavilion (terms and conditions apply).
The purpose is to share the common message of public and private stakeholders working to reduce emissions, including Denmark’s 70 pct. reduction of greenhouse gases in 2030. This will be done through the shared Pavilion in the Blue Zone, as a platform for side events, networking, informal meetings, receptions as well as bilateral meetings. Again, we are hosting two networking reception during COP outside of the negotiation area.

COP31 in Türkiye
Prior to COP30 in Brazil, UN Member States submitted their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), setting out how each country intends to help achieve the Paris Agreement’s global temperature goal. Now, the focus at COP31 will shift to implementation—translating ambition into concrete climate action to close the emissions gap and deliver on the Paris Agreement.
Negotiations at COP31 are also expected to centre on accelerating the energy transition, mobilising climate finance, strengthening adaptation measures, advancing a just transition, and establishing clearer systems for monitoring and enforcing progress.
The COP31 hosts have launched their official website.
