Danish Delegation to the UN Water Conference

Join the Danish Pavillon at the UN Water Conference 2026 in Abu Dhabi from 8-10 December. This is an opportunity to engage with UN member states and international stakeholders addressing global challenges related to clean water, water security, and resilience. The Danish Minster for Environment is expected to participate.

UN Water will focus on accelerating action on some of the most pressing water challenges facing societies today. Often referred to as the "COP for water", the UN Water Conference is a key meeting point for governments, international organizations, financial institutions, utilities, and companies working with water solutions. Danish Industry, State of Green, the Trade Council in Dubai and The Ministry for Environment are therefore inviting Danish companies to join the Danish Pavillion and be part of a coordinated Danish presence at the conference!

The delegation targets a global audience, with special focus on international decision-makers, multilateral organizations, financial institutions, and companies with a strategic interest in water solutions. Building on lessons from previous UN Water Conferences and COP events, the value of a unified Danish presence supported by a broad organizational coalition is clear.

The conference is expected to attract around 10,000 participants, including numerous ministers and high-level officials. The Danish pavilion will provide a platform for companies and knowledge institutions to represent Danish strongholds. A shared stage will offer opportunities for participating organizations to increase their visibility alongside international stakeholders, while the pavilion functions as a hub for bilateral meetings and networking conversations.
