WEBINAR: THE JAPANESE FURNITURE AND INTERIOR MARKET

The Confederation of Danish Industry and the Trade Council of Denmark / Danish Embassy in Japan invite you to partake in a webinar focusing on the Japanese Furniture and Interior Market. During the webinar, you will get strategic insights, tactical guidance, and real-life examples to succeed in the Japanese furniture and interior market. Furthermore, you will be invited to attend at the Danish Pavilion at IFFT in Tokyo.

The economy of Japan is a highly developed free-market economy. It is the third largest in the world by nominal GDP, the fourth largest by purchasing power parity (PPP), and the world's second largest developed economy.

Danish furniture and interior products have been in demand on the Japanese market for decades and many established Danish high-end furniture and interior brands have Japan as a top 2-5 market and as the second largest export market outside of Europe – only surpassed by the US market. Even though Danish design brands have been popular in Japan for years, there is still potential growth in the future and re-take market shares lost after the great recession.

THIS WEBINAR aims to present an overview of trends and opportunities on the Japanese furniture and interior market, drawn from the experiences of Danish companies, and to deliver strategic insight, tactical guidance, and real-life examples of how to succeed in the Japanese market.
