WATER VISIT FROM ARGENTINA
The Confederation of Danish Industry and the Danish Embassy in Argentina invite Danish companies to be a part of an incoming high-level water delegation from Argentina.
THE ARGENTINE WATER SECTOR is progressing substantially, and in developing sustainable solutions for water supply and wastewater treatment, Danish expertise and technology is an important source of inspiration. On the occasion of the Danish State Visit to Argentina in March 2019, a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between Argentine and Danish water authorities provides a unique opportunity for learning more about the Argentine Government’s plans and for understanding the pressing needs of the publicly owned water utility company, AySA, providing sanitation and water supply in Buenos Aires.
WHY IS IT RELEVANT FOR YOUR COMPANY?
During the visit, the Argentine delegation will visit Copenhagen to learn more about the Danish approach to water supply and wastewater treatment, in which efficiency and energy production are key elements. Participation in the visit provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your company’s solutions to the two most influential executives in the Argentine water sector and will at the same time give you valuable insight on the Argentine water sector and coming plans in Argentina.
WHO IS VISITING?
Argentina’s two key decision-makers within the water sector will visit Denmark. Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Water Policy Pablo Bereciartua is the main authority responsible for the development of the Argentine National Water Plan. President of AySA José Luis Inglese and Director General Adjunto of AySA Ing. Fernando Calatroni - are responsible for implementing the plan in the Greater Buenos Aires area, servicing 14 million inhabitants.
