Join the Danish Living Room at Casa Décor - The most important design event in Spain

Throughout the course of three decades, Casa Décor has become a benchmark for interior design. Every year, this exhibition takes place in a different location in the centre of Madrid, gathering businesses, decorators, interior designers, architects, designers etc. to show their work in an exclusive context of avant-garde and high decoration.

For six weeks, the exhibition opens to the public an iconic and unique building in the capital, which includes fifty spaces decorated by established professionals and young promises of interior design. Designers completely rebuild these rooms, creating extremely original and high-end spaces where they display top products from the participating brands – for instance by creating real bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, children´s playrooms, etc.

This year, Denmark will once again have its own curated room showcasing Danish products and solutions. The exhibition will take place from 13 April to 28 May, 2023.

THE DANISH ROOM

The Embassy of Denmark in Spain, the Confederation of Danish Industry and Creative Denmark would like to invite Danish companies to attend the Danish Room at Casa Décor. For the first time ever, it will take place in Serrano street, one of the city’s most iconic and luxurious commercial streets.

A splendid residential building from 1929 has been chosen for the occasion, which has maintained its original layout throughout the years. This 4,000-square-meter building includes a ground floor and three floors, as well as 21 balconies overlooking Serrano street. It has two façades, one facing the street and the other one facing an interior courtyard, which means all the rooms are filled with plenty of natural light.  

The Danish Room is a turnkey solution providing you with a platform to present your company and products/solutions as well as practical advantages in terms of planning and participation in the exhibition.

CURATOR AND PROJECT

The Danish Room will be designed by award-winning interior designer Gema Gutierrez, founder of the creative design studio PuntoFilipino. Gema has over 15 years of experience in luxury retail and residential design, having worked with prestigious brands such as Hermès Paris, Roberto Verino, Caviarde Riofrío, Carlota Barrera or Aire Hotel. Some of the awards Gema has received include:

• German Design Award 2023

PACKAGES

The Trade Council will be co-funding the project and will assume 50% of the total cost of all activities, services, fees, etc. for the event. Companies participating will only have to pay 50% of the budget.

Fees per company will be assigned according to its participation in the exhibition*:
