Supporting competitiveness in Europe

This event aims to open the discussion on public funds, financial instruments and other policy measures that help Danish and European companies to stay competitive

Do you want to learn more about EU and Danish support to businesses and the way to strengthen European competitiveness in the future? The European Commission Representation in Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Finance and Danish Industry invite you to discuss the present and the future: How can we provide and develop cost-efficient financial and funding mechanisms at the right pace to support technologies, innovation, and the scaling of competitive industries?

One of the key levers for competitiveness is access to funding and how to gear public support to de-risk and attract private capital. This event aims to explore how Danish and European companies can stay competitive and examine what it takes to boost their growth and investments in Europe. Key topics to be discussed include learnings from the Recovery and Resilience Facility and the other European funding instruments. We will also discuss the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and other policy instruments such as the Capital Markets Union.
