Join DI and the Royal Danish Embassy in Rome for a substantial trade promotion event in Rome, where Danish defence companies will have the opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of key stakeholders from the Italian defence industry.
The Italian-Danish Defence Industry Day is organized in a strong partnership with the Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security (AIAD), representing more than 400 Italian defense companies and The Italian Ministry of Defence.
The day is designed to strengthen the commercial ties and foster bilateral cooperation between Danish and Italian defence companies and create concrete opportunities for Danish companies in one of Europe’s largest defence markets. Following the morning opening session and a networking lunch, the afternoon programme will be focused on matchmaking sessions between Danish and Italian companies, providing a structured opportunity for direct business-to-business engagement. The format will enable participants to hold a series of focused, one-to-one meetings with selected counterparts, facilitating the exchange of capabilities and the identification of potential synergies. Prior to the event we will set up a 1-1 dialogue with the companies that sign up for the event, to make sure that we build the matchmaking session the best possible way.
The day is hosted by the Italian Ministry of Defence, and an evening networking reception will be hosted at the Ambassador’s residence. Participants will meet leading Italian defence companies, relevant representatives from Italian defence authorities as well as armed forces. The programme will include institutional and industrial presentations, panel discussions and networking across all defence domains.
Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistic Organisation (DALO) will participate in the event and DI Defence and AIAD will sign a MoU on cooperation during the event.

Optional Day 2: Additional tailormade day – 26 November
Several Danish companies have asked for the opportunity of having an additional day, following the Italian-Danish defence industry day. The Royal Danish Embassy in Rome will therefore coordinate a tailor-made company and site visit programme on November 26th providing participating Danish companies with a valuable opportunity to gain further first-hand insight into the Italian defence ecosystem and engage directly with selected industrial partners and defence primes in the Rome area.
The programme will run throughout the morning, with activities concluding by 3 pm.
PLEASE NOTE:
The additional tailormade day is not part of the programme for the Italian-Danish Defence Day. The fee pr. company for participating in the additional tailormade day is 3.075 DKK for SMEs and 6.150 DKK for non-SMEs (all costs included).
