Join a high-level Danish business delegation to the United Kingdom with the participation of the Minister for Senior Citizens of Denmark, Mette Kierkgaard, Danish Industry and the Royal Danish Embassy in London.

The delegation will focus on elderly care and social care innovation, offering a unique opportunity to explore the UK’s priorities in social care, healthcare integration, and innovative elder care solutions.

Delegation participants will meet key public and private UK stakeholders, , gaining insights into policy priorities, innovation pathways, and collaborative opportunities in the UK social care system. Over two intensive days in London, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the UK’s social care transformation, the NHS 10-year plan, and the integration of innovative solutions in elderly and community care.

The delegation aims to strengthen cooperation between Denmark and the UK in elderly and social care, highlight Danish innovation, technology, and expertise in people-centered care and community-based support, public-private partnerships, scalable care solutions, and foster long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable and innovative care models.

- Welcome reception hosted by the Danish Minister for Senior Citizens and the Danish Ambassador in London at the Danish Embassy in London
- Networking with VIP UK stakeholders and invited guests from the social care and health sectors
- Session on “Implementing the NHS 10-Year Plan with a Focus on Innovative Care Solutions” by a UK expert
- Site visit to a care home with the Danish Minister for Senior Citizens, focusing on innovative solutions in elderly care
- Parallel roundtables on NHS 10-Year Plan themes
  Using the three overarching themes as a framework for the discussion, exploring how each aligns with and supports the strategic goals of the NHS 10-Year Plan. The aim is to identify opportunities, challenges, and actions that contribute to delivering the plan’s long-term priorities.

- Session on: Accessing the UK market by UK market, regulatory & compliance expert
  Workshop: “Regulatory Challenges for Innovative Solutions – New Approaches to Evidence, Collaboration, and Implementation”
  
  UK expert will discuss about regulations, approval and requirements for accessing the UK market post-Brexit. Discussions can also include how NICE and MHRA are adapting regulatory frameworks to support innovation (e.g., “regulatory sandboxes” and outcome-based regulation) and how public-private collaboration can accelerate adoption of proven solutions.

Additional participants: 2,000 DKK per person.

Companies must be eligible for grants from the Trade Council under the rules for “de minimis subsidies” for export promotion activities.
