EU RECOVERY DAY

THE CONFEDERATION OF DANISH INDUSTRY KICK-STARTS THE EFFORT TO SEIZE EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES FROM THE EU RECOVERY FUND

The EU will soon launch its Recovery Plan with investments of 750 billion euros. The investments expect to fuel economic growth in the shadow of covid-19, while it will also bring about new export opportunities for companies. Particularly concerning Danish companies who enjoy a leading position in the green transition, digitalization, and healthcare - all of which are strategic focus areas for the EU Recovery Fund. At least 57 percent of the EU funds must encourage green and digital investments.

The Confederation of Danish Industry expects Danish companies' funds to be up to 11 billion DKK per year from 2021 to 2026.

Once the funds are available, the EU countries intend to make massive investments in, amongst others, renewable energy, energy efficiency, digital infrastructure, digital upskilling, and healthcare technology. According to the EU Recovery Plan, the first investments will be available in the fall of 2021. Therefore, Danish companies must commence their preparations if they want a share in the EU countries' investments. To ease the process, the Confederation of Danish Industry will provide you with an overview of the opportunities and promote your products and solutions to the other EU countries.

Join the event to get guidance on how to seize the export opportunities from the EU Recovery Fund and gain the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with relevant experts.
