Milan Design Week 2021
In extension to Denmark’s Green Agenda and the recently launched Global Climate Action Strategy, the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Trade Council of Denmark in Italy, and the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen are organizing a one-week exhibition of Danish strongholds within Architecture, Design and Circular Economy during the Milan Design Week.
Danish Exhibition at the TrashFormation Village during Milan Design Week
During the Milan Design Week, a series of parallel events that are grouped under the umbrella of Fuori Salone will take place in the city of Milan. This includes the Danish one-week exhibition, which will be part of the TrashFormation Village, a project on waste recycle and reuse organized by the main art gallerist in Milan, Rossana Orlandi, who in 2019 was listed by Børsen as one of the 8 most influential people within the industry globally.
Specifically, the Danish Exhibition seeks to showcase Danish products and solutions within Design, Architecture and Environmental and Social Sustainability with a focus on circularity and creativity. Here small and large companies from Denmark are invited to exhibit.
Danish Installations at the TrashFormation Village
Denmark will also be represented with installations that have been designed and curated by Lendager Group. These include:
- The School within the TrashFormation Village – a visionary village realized exclusively with reused, recycled and upcycled materials. The school will function as a Danish narrative of learning through creativity.
- A showcase of recycled objects within the Hall of Waste, which offers an itinerary exhibition of companies recognized for their excellence in the re-waste supply chain and in projects that redevelops the excess of natural resources.
