POWER-TO-X AND SECTOR COUPLING DELEGATION TO HAMBURG
Northern Germany harbours a great potential for the large-scale application of PtX-technologies. With new PtX strategies in both countries, a German PtX-alliance, and a German-Danish hydrogen cluster underway, we want to seize the opportunity to ensure optimal collaboration and growth of PtX-solutions across the border.
The Confederation of Danish Industry and the Royal Danish Consulate General in Hamburg are therefore delighted to invite you to a Power-to-X and Sector Coupling Delegation to Hamburg. This delegation is a direct follow-up on positive discussions and initial negotiations at company and government level between the two regions to foster further collaboration in this important new field of energy.

April 4-6, 2022: Delegation visit to Hamburg

Background
The Northern German hydrogen strategy has set ambitious targets for the large-scale role out of PtX-technologies. Northern Germany is an important economic powerhouse and a big player in the European energy market. Hamburg is in the middle of a green transition of its port and industry to meet ambitious climate targets. Schleswig-Holstein is among the leading states in Germany within green energy production.
The Trade Council of Denmark in Germany is currently starting activities within Power-to-X. For this purpose, they are forming a strategic alliance consisting of Danish companies within the Power-to-X value chain, in order to promote Danish solutions and technologies in this area. The activities are both at political and project level. This will enable Danish PtX-companies’ access to relevant German stakeholders.
