Royal Digital Business Conference 'Partnering For Green Transition'
On the occasion of the Royal Digital Business Conference on green transition headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Denmark, accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jeppe Kofod and Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, Mr. Dan Jørgensen, the Organising Team is pleased to invite you to join us in the Digital Business Conference ‘Partnering for Green Transition”.
This conference will focus on how the Netherlands and Denmark can work
together to obtain our ambitious climate goals through the green transformation of our societies. Political ambitions and strong innovation will be needed in order to reach the targets outlined in the UNFCCC Paris Agreement.
The Netherlands and Denmark share high ambitions and jointly push for higher targets at the international level and in the EU context. Both countries have developed a high integration of green energy sources in various parts of the society, and Dutch and Danish companies are frontrunners when it comes to developing new technologies for the energy systems of the future.
However, more challenges remain on the path to a completely carbon neutral
energy system. A huge effort is needed in all sectors.
The EU Recovery Fund and the Renovation Wave initiative will be a game changer for implementing new energy efficient solutions in Europe. This creates a great potential for a collaborative Danish – Dutch effort in the EU context.
These and other topics related to green transition will be discussed during
this conference.
