THE GERMAN MARKET
During the past couple of years, it has become obvious that Germany needs to step up efforts to enter the age of digitization, especially in public services. The new German government is focusing on this challenge and a number of initiatives are under development to strengthen the level of digitization in the German society. Germany is looking to Denmark for inspiration and our digital solutions, as Denmark tops the EU ranking of digitization.

The German market is growing, and it is Denmark’s largest export market. In 2016, exports to Germany constituted 13 % of the total Danish exports, equivalent to DKK 145 billion.

Please note that the final program will be adjusted according to the overall profile and interests of the delegation. Companies operating within other sectors are welcome to participate and to join relevant activities.
