Europe does not lack a diagnosis of its competitiveness problem. Draghi and Letta have set out the case for action, the European Commission has presented ambitious roadmaps, and business leaders across the continent have said it again and again: without a more productive Europe, growth, resilience and global influence will slip away. What Europe needs is not more analyses, it needs delivery.
Danish Industry and Think Tank EUROPA invite you to a mini-conference that turns the conversation from diagnosis to action. Instead of another retrospective of what the Commission has achieved so far, we ask a more urgent question: which pending proposals should Europe prioritise right now to deliver meaningful, near-term improvements for businesses?
The conference builds on Danish Industry’s ongoing push for a Single Market free of barriers and burdens and marks the launch of Think Tank EUROPA’s new report “The EU Short List 2026: Productivity Reforms Within Reach”, which identifies the most impactful and politically achievable EU initiatives for strengthening productivity in the near term.
