CCUS and Hydrogen Delegation to the UK, 2-3/4 September 2025

Save the date for a delegation to meet the UK hydrogen and CCUS industry in Scotland. During the visit you will join in-depth discussions with key UK public and private stakeholders including developers.

The United Kingdom is a big export marked for Danish energy technology. With a new Prime Minister and government, it is important to show Denmark is still an important partner to the UK. The new government has announced ambitious green targets, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced he wants the UK to become a clean energy superpower and green finance capital of the world.

On this background we are together with the Danish Energy Export organising a three-day delegation, where you will get the opportunity to engage with key stakeholders (product developers, ports, as well as off-takers and government representatives) within the hydrogen and CCUS industry.

Preliminary Programme

Tuesday, 2 Sep Wednesday, 3 Sep Thursday, 4 Sep

    • Arrival in Edinburgh

    • Introduction to Hydrogen Industry in the UK, and upcoming plans/tenders

    • Meetings with hydrogen developers, that have won the first Hydrogen Allocation Round

    • Networking dinner

    • Introduction to CCUS industry by Scottish Enterprise

    • Meeting with SSE including acorn project

    • Meetings with developers of CCUS technology.

    • Possible visit to developers in Aberdeen area

  1. Position your company as a leading strategic partner in the future development of CCUS and hydrogen in the UK.

  2. Gain knowledge on the CCUS and hydrogen policies and upcoming tenders in the UK.

  3. Get direct access to key public and private stakeholders in the UK.

  4. Share perspectives that could influence the development of future framework conditions and finance structures

The Fine Print

The price is calculated based on 8 participating companies and a 50 pct. subsidy granted by the Danish Trade Council. Registration is binding. Are you not eligible for export subsidy (de minimis) the base price of participation is DKK 30.000-40.000. If the number of participating companies’ changes, we reserve the right to offer participation at a different price. Should this result in a higher price than the one quoted you have the right to cancel your participation.

Registration is in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for participation in Export Promotion Events of the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI).
