Invitation: Ukraine Investment Forum
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs cordially invites all interested companies to attend the inaugural meeting of the Ukraine Investment Forum, hosted by Confederation of Danish Industry. The Ukraine Investment Forum is an initiative under the Danish government’s Ukraine Fund.
The Forum is for all Danish companies currently engaged in Ukraine or planning to do so, in the near future. The objective of the meeting is to explore and identify how Danish companies can meaningfully engage with Ukrainian partners in the effort to rebuild and develop Ukraine.
Tentative agenda
- Opening remarks by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs
- Keynote speech by high-level Ukrainian official [TBC]
- Presentation of the new DKK 1 billion Rebuild Ukraine Loan and Guarantee Scheme by Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund
- Presentation of other relevant funding opportunities, including in the context of Danida Sustainable Infrastructure Finance and the Investment Fund for Developing Countries
Additionally, the Forum will facilitate sectorial exchanges on market opportunities in Ukraine.The sector workshops will be divided into different tracks. The aim of the workshop sessions will be to identify and facilitate potential matches between Danish companies’ core competencies and Ukrainian needs and demands.
Considering the agenda and limited capacity, participation is restricted to two representatives per company. We would encourage attendance at a high strategic level (CEO-level) and at the operational level (with responsibility for the Ukrainian market).
