Event

Meet the Polish Offshore Wind Ecosystem

We have the pleasure of inviting you to a workshop and reception with key policy and decision makers responsible for the development and expansion of offshore wind in Poland. The event is by invitation only.

The delegation includes 25 representatives from the Polish Ministry of State Assets (Ministerstwo Aktywów Państwowych, MAP), Poland’s National Development Bank (BGK) and Poland’s two large state-owned companies, Orlen and PGE.

The Ministry is responsible for managing state assets, including shaping polices that effectively utilise state property in the energy sector. Together with BGK, MAP has launched a significant loan programme to support Orlen and PGE together with their respective partners Ørsted and Northland Power, in building nearly 6 GW of offshore wind by 2030. This marks Poland’s first phase of offshore wind development.

The delegation will be travelling around Denmark for four days from 23-26 June, where they will gain insights into Denmark’s approach to offshore wind through meetings with decision makers, port operators, financial institutions, and an array of private companies servicing the offshore wind sector. They will furthermore be accompanied by the representatives from Denmark’s embassy in Warsaw as well as the Polish embassy in Copenhagen.

The workshop and reception will provide an opportunity to hear the latest developments in the Polish offshore wind sector, share your experiences and serve as a forum for informal exchange on current challenges and upcoming opportunities.

This event is by invitation only.
