10 Years of Industry 4.0: Lessons Learned and Future Directions

Join us at the Danish Automation Society (DAU) for our upcoming conference, 10 Years of Industry 4.0: Lessons Learned and Future Directions. Presented entirely in English, this conference offers an international platform for dialogue and exchange on the real-world challenges and accomplishments of Industry 4.0.

Over the past decade, Industry 4.0 has emerged from a promising concept to a complex reality. This conference invites you to examine this transformative journey with us. We will take a balanced look at what has been achieved, what remains aspirational, and what the future might hold considering the experiences of the past decade.

Our conference aims to explore the realities behind the excitement of Industry 4.0. We will discuss the challenges that have emerged as we have sought to integrate smart manufacturing with legacy systems, grappled with the interoperability of IoT, and navigated the risks of cybersecurity.

Further, we will review the implementation of digital twin technology, adaptive user interfaces, and the latest advancements in industrial automation and control systems. These developments represent significant strides in realizing the vision of Industry 4.0, and we will explore how they are shaping the present and future of the industry.

As we reflect on a decade of Industry 4.0, we will also cast our gaze towards the future, exploring the potential and challenges of emergent technologies such as AI and 5G networks.

DAU is committed to fostering an open exchange of ideas and encouraging a realistic perspective on automation in Denmark. This conference embodies our commitment to active knowledge sharing and engagement with the evolution of Industry 4.0 strategies.

Join us in reflecting on a decade of Industry 4.0, engaging in a global conversation, and shaping the future of this industrial revolution. This conference is a golden opportunity to network with the brightest minds in the field, stay abreast of the latest trends, and gain a balanced perspective on Industry 4.0. We look forward to your participation.

As a DAU member, you have the opportunity to become an exhibitor at DAU's mini exhibition at a favorable price. A stand costs twice the participant fee and includes 2 conference participants. This gives you the opportunity to pitch your newest products and solutions and showcase them during all breaks. If you want to learn more about the opportunities to exhibit at the mini exhibition, please contact Secretariat Manager Mathias Kimer Larsen at mlar@di.dk or call 3377 3870.

As a benefit for DAU members in the two highest membership fee groups, we are reintroducing the voucher system this year, which offers free access to a DAU conference of your choice. If your company is in the membership fee group of 20 to 250 employees, you have one voucher for 2024. If you are in the 251+ employees group, you have two vouchers. To use a voucher, you just need to register at least two people from your company at the regular price and send an email to mlar@di.dk informing us that you would like to use a voucher. You will then not be invoiced for one of the conference tickets. If you are unsure whether your company has available vouchers, you are also welcome to send an email to mlar@di.dk for clarification.
