The New Rules of OT Security: Machinery, access, and compliance in industrial automation

What happens when new security requirements move from regulation into machines, service agreements and daily manufacturing? That question is becoming more urgent for companies working with industrial automation. The Cyber Resilience Act, the Machinery Regulation and new expectations for documentation, access and system security are changing the conditions for machine builders, suppliers, integrators and end users.

At this DAU conference, the focus is on the practical consequences. How do you handle certificates in OT environments with long system lifetimes? What does remote access look like when two-factor authentication and mobile devices become part of the security model? Who is responsible when new requirements affect installed systems, service access or production uptime?

What the conference covers
New OT requirements affect how machines and automation systems are designed, delivered, maintained and operated. They raise practical questions about responsibility, documentation, access, certificates, supplier obligations and the ability to keep production running when security requirements change.

The conference will address the Cyber Resilience Act, the Machinery Regulation, substantial modification, certificates, remote access, mobile devices and two-factor authentication. It will connect the regulatory framework with the practical grey areas that arise when new requirements meet existing production equipment, service agreements and daily operations.

You will hear from
The programme brings together Conscia, Siemens, Maskinsikkerhed, Schneider Electric, and end-users to examine how new OT requirements affect machinery, automation systems, access, documentation and production environments in practice.

Who should attend
The conference is relevant for professionals working with automation, machinery, OT systems, manfuacturing technology, industrial IT security, compliance, service, engineering and operations. It is especially relevant for companies that build, supply, integrate, maintain or operate machines and manufacturing systems.

EXHIBITION

As a DAU member, you can exhibit at the mini exhibition at a favorable price. A stand costs twice the participant fee and includes two conference tickets. This gives you the chance to pitch your newest products during all breaks. Contact Mathias Kimer Larsen at mlar@di.dk or 3377 3870 to learn more.
