15 SEPTEMBER, 10.05-10.30: The Entrepreneurs and the Social Contract

Rolf Kjærgaard, CEO, Vækstfonden
Lars Sandahl Sørensen, CEO, DI - The Confederation of Danish Industry
Mia Grosen, Founder & CEO, Canute

Denmark is still lagging behind most of Europe, when it comes to how many people want to start their own business. Young people strive to work in big companies or the public sector. Working from nine to five and then checking out, while getting a stable paycheck every month. Not taking the entrepreneurial leap has simply become too comfortable. The rewards are too small, the risk too high and the amount of struggles to overcome immense.

This challenges the social contract. Society must create an appealing framework for entrepreneurs in order to reap the fruits of their hard work. If the equation does not add up, society will miss out essential innovation to solve the big challenges lying head of us.

15 SEPTEMBER, 12.30-13.10: Let's Talk About Founder Stress

Morten Resen, Founder & CEO, GoLittle
Nima Sophia Tisdall, Founder, Blue Lobster
Helle Uth, Investor, PreSeed Ventures
Armin Kavousi, Founder & Tech-entrepreneur, Curvex

Founder stress is easily one of the most underrated and overlooked keys to entrepreneurial success. Even though studies indicate that entrepreneurs are 50 percent more likely to report having a mental health condition compared to others. This might not be a big surprise. The life of an entrepreneur is taxing in any imaginable way: raising capital, fluctuating income, establishing a brand, building the right team.

How do you manage to take care of your mental health and your businesses? Join an honest fireside chat on how to manage the toughest sport of them all: Entrepreneurship and how to strike the right balance in your life.
