Webinar: Explore the French Offshore Wind Market and Opportunities

France has set ambitious targets for offshore wind: 18 GW of installed capacity by 2035 and 45 GW by 2050. We are zooming in on the market opportunities this will bring, as well as the current political situation in France

With the world’s second-largest maritime area, France is steadily advancing major offshore wind developments. Several bottom-fixed and floating wind farms are already operational or under construction, supporting national renewable energy objectives. Furthermore, France is increasing its installed capacity as the country moves toward ambitious long-term targets.

Pays de la Loire is home to different industries as the region, and especially its capital Nantes, is a hub for bottom-fixed offshore wind. This location combines industrial strength and advanced infrastructure, and is home to maritime and shipbuilding, renewable energy sectors (wind, solar, and hydrogen). Moreover, the Port of Nantes–Saint-Nazaire is a major logistics hub for bulk cargo, industrial goods, and wind turbine components.

France is turning to Denmark for solutions. If you are involved in offshore wind technology, services, or partnerships, this is a timely opportunity to understand the market and identify emerging business opportunities.
