Is Cambodia a Supply Chain Option?

Emerging markets across Southeast Asia are attracting a growing number of manufacturing investments because of China’s declining appeal. Could Cambodia be next in line?

Many companies have relocated supply chain functions from China to Southeast Asia, but the region’s least developed countries have yet to see a significant investor influx.

That could be about to change. Cambodia's economy grew at an annual rate of almost 8 percent between 1995 and 2019, and it is now picking up steam again after the Covid-19 disruptions. According to the World Bank, Cambodia's growth forecast for the coming years is among the highest in the region, fueled by a strong manufacturing performance.

This webinar examines Cambodia’s potential as a supply chain option for Danish companies.

Key talking points:

  • Experiences from outsourcing to Cambodia
  • Comparisons with other Southeast Asian countries
  • Sector opportunities
  • Political and regulatory risks
