Wind and PtX Opportunities in Brittany, France
France has just released a new plan for offshore wind, with an additional 9.2 GW to be constructed. A hotspot for this is Brittany, which is set to receive around 2GW of this massive portfolio.
Therefore, DI and the Embassy of Denmark in Paris invite you to a webinar on upcoming tenders and market opportunities within offshore wind and Power-to-X.
Brittany is a region with a high potential for harnessing marine renewable energy, thanks to its strong ocean waves, currents, and winds. It also enjoys a strong skill base in the maritime industry, which is crucial for growing this emergent sector along with the new technology required.
Brittany is harnessing the potential of marine renewable energy to reduce fossil fuel consumption locally with Power-to-X technology. Contributing directly to the 6,5GW electrolysis capacity installation target by 2030 set in the French national hydrogen strategy.
