Biosolutions in Agriculture 2.0
Biosolutions in Agriculture 2.0: New edition
We have exciting news! A new edition of “Biosolutions in Agriculture: Cases highlighting the solutions transforming the agricultural sector” is out with new cases and solutions.
When we are discussing the landscape of the future, biosolutions can play a key role. Fighting soil degradation, battling nitrate leaching or feeding animals in the future, these solutions can and are already transforming the agricultural sector.
The companies highlighted in this catalogue are all members of DI Biosolutions, the leading community for companies developing and manufacturing biosolutions in Denmark and beyond. The catalogue is divided into two separate sections: solutions of today and solutions of tomorrow to guide the reader in finding new solutions to their need - today and tomorrow.
We also highlight the difficulties met by the innovators, both politically and on the market. A common denominator is lengthy regulatory processes, slowing down the approval of new products, and a lack of risk-willing capital, making it difficult to scale innovation for biosolutions companies.
The catalogue highlights the need for new policies to speed up approval processes, build scaling facilities and secure risk-willing capital. DI Biosolutions and the European Biosolutions Coalition are working to secure a bold and broad Biotech Act 2 to meet these issues. At the same time, a new Danish government should also look at these challenges and work to better the conditions for future innovation in the agricultural sector, shortening approval times for biopesticides and investing in upscaling facilities in Denmark.
If you work within the agricultural sector, do take a look at this catalogue. The future of agriculture is here, and it consists of biosolutions transforming conventional processes with biological solutions, helping farmers reach green ambitions and improve yield and soil health.
