Sustainable and scalable AgTech solutions are not a distant vision - they already exist. With our new AgTech catalogue, we showcase technologies that can strengthen resource efficiency, reduce emissions and increase resilience in agriculture today, with many more on the way.

We have collected a range of solutions, either available today or soon, all of which support the agricultural industry in the sustainable transition of production now. The solutions range from biopesticides to feed to reduce methane emissions, but their common ground is the ability to provide pivotal change in the sector. 

We, in DI Biosolutions, often get asked what the time frame for the solutions we help promote is. Especially in agriculture, the prospects of new solutions are deemed futuristic, but in reality, we have a range of sustainable and scalable solutions ready to implement now. 

Some of the solutions, like Arla Foods, Novonesis and Syngenta, provide solutions already available and in use on a huge and global scale. Other cases like Traitomic and Nordic Microbes have a product in production and have huge potential for growth, and companies like Aerbio are still in pilot production, hopefully being able to provide a large difference on the market soon. 

The permission of NGT-use is a step in the right direction, but we need the rights policies to reach the full potential of new technologies. This is why we, along with the European Biosolutions Coalition, have been calling for a broad and bold Biotech Act, along with more risk-willing capital and investments in the biosolutions sector.
