Shaping Europe’s Digital Future in an Era of Global Tensions

When Denmark assumes the EU presidency on Juli 1, 2025, it does so during a pivotal moment for Europe.

As global tensions rise, technological competition intensifies, and the pressure for stronger digital resilience grows, Europe faces difficult questions: How do we strengthen our competitiveness while safeguarding technological autonomy? How do we ensure that European companies benefit from secure, cutting-edge solutions without compromising on values or security?

This event, hosted by DI Digital and Think Tank Europa, brings together the digital attachés of EU member states – the key figures shaping and negotiating Europe’s digital policies in Brussels.

For Danish companies this is an opportunity to bring Danish perspectives, solutions, and approaches into the European conversation. Denmark has a strong tradition for digital innovation, public-private collaboration, and pragmatic policymaking – experiences that can help shape and strengthen the EU’s work on digital competitiveness, resilience, and sovereignty.

The program includes high-level presentations, political insights, and interactive discussions on the challenges and opportunities Europe faces in a digital and geopolitical context. The event concludes with networking to facilitate dialogue between DI members and EU digital attachés

Participation is by invitation only.
