What is currently capturing your attention or focus?

"The manufacturing industry is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by increasingly stringent regulations such as NIS2, the AI Act, the Data Act, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). These initiatives bring both complexity and opportunity."

"Our mission is clear: to build a stronger, more resilient industrial future through intutive, effective, and compliant connectivity solutions that empower our users and protect what matters most."

"As the industry most targeted by cyberattacks, manufacturing requires a coordinated, proactive security approach. Our focus is to offer a holistic overview, prioritized insights, and actionable guidance that help our users navigate this evolving regulatory and threat landscape with ease.” - Says Michael Ferdinandsen

What do you see as your greatest opportunity in the coming years?

“In today’s hyperconnected world, connectivity is no longer optional — it’s essential. Yet, the journey from connected to protected remains complex. This challenge represents an immense opportunity for Secomea.

"By advancing the cybersecurity approach and simplifying protection across networks and devices, we help organizations secure every layer of their digital infrastructure. Beyond technology, the greatest opportunity lies in collaboration - connecting machine builders and manufacturers across the global supply chain."

"At Secomea, we believe in humanizing technology—making cybersecurity accessible, collaborative, and intuitive for everyone involved in industrial operations.” - Michael Ferdinandsen continues.

What do you see as your greatest challenge in the coming years?

"Our industry faces a paradox: while cyber threats are universal, the resources, priorities, and capabilities to mitigate them vary widely across companies. This imbalance creates an uneven playing field — and vulnerabilities that affect the entire ecosystem."

"The complexity of tools, regulations, and processes often leads users to take shortcuts, reducing visibility and increasing risk. Our challenge — and responsibility — is to raise the baseline for cybersecurity and compliance across the entire supply chain."

"Secomea’s mission is to simplify the complex—to close gaps, increase transparency, and motivate proactive security practices industry-wide." - Says Michael.

Could you highlight a particularly exciting product or service that characterizes your company?

“At Secomea, our innovation is driven by collaboration, transparency, and trust. We focus on empowering machine builders and manufacturers to see more, know more, and do more—securely."

"Our CPS Secure Remote Access platform enables seamless cooperation between stakeholders while maintaining control, visibility, and compliance. It transforms isolated systems into connected, protected ecosystems where vulnerabilities are visible, risks are reduced, and compliance becomes achievable."

"In essence, we create collaborators, not silos — helping our customers eliminate blind spots, reduce operational risks, and confidently embrace the future of secure, intelligent manufacturing.” - Michael Ferdinansen wraps up.
