DI’s Committee for Digital Business Conditions and New Technologies

DI’s Committee for Digital Business Conditions and New Technologies has an interest in new digital technologies and how we can create a framework in EU and on national level that can continuously foster innovation and growth amongst companies. We aim to do it, by:

  • Developing and presenting specific political initiatives for the government, as well as other relevant authorities
  • Contributing to the public debate
  • Engage in productive and beneficial debates with stakeholders and politicians

  • EU & Danish legal framework conditions touching the subject of digitalization
  • Digital capability in relation to digital transformation
  • Datasharing between companies
  • Use of Cloud
  • Framework for standardisation of data
  • Datamonopolies

Activities within the Committee

- 4 annual meetings for the members of the Committee

- A politician serves as a guest speaker at most meetings

- The meetings include development of ideas, discussions and thoughful decisions

- In between the meetings, the members of the Committee who wishes to, engages in workgroups regarding hearings, legal framework conditions etc.

  1. The Committee is advisory to DI's policy positions and views on digital business.

  2. The Committee takes an active part in shaping policy initiatives, consultation responses, etc.
