New District Heating Regulation: Netherlands – Germany – Poland - UK
10.45 - 11.30
Background
Most countries in the EU are finally viewing district heating as a solution to get off natural gas and at the same time DH is useful in reaching energy efficiency. This agenda is pushed by the Russian war against Ukraine but also by EU’s increasing climate targets. Therefore, the political pressures and business attention to district heating as an efficient and green solution is growing across many countries. As a leading nation in district energy, Denmark is well-positioned to supply to this growing market. With collaboration programs in a range of European countries centered specifically around district energy, the knowledge and goodwill towards Danish solutions grows among key partners abroad. At this workshop we will have a look at the new DH regulation in some of the markets that invest most in new DH systems. Come and learn about the newest DH regulations in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and the UK.
