GLOBAL MARKET UPDATE
10.45 - 11.30
Background
There is no doubt that global ambitions in the wind energy sector still are incredibly high, which should pave the way for continued Danish export success. However, it feels like the landscape is shifting, with geopolitics, disruptions in supply chains, and increased global competition all impacting the export arena.
We'll begin with an overview of the global wind market, examining four key regions: Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the America. This will provide insights into the dominant market trends, as well as the challenges and opportunities present in each region.
Most importantly, this session will explore how these global market developments affect the Danish wind industry and wind energy exports. What is the value proposition of the Danish wind value chain to the global wind markets? We will delve into the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, from an export and industry perspective, in each of the four regions. This analysis will lay the groundwork for further discussions on the necessary focus areas for export efforts.
