Kick-off event: German-Danish Green Hydrogen Forum

Join us for this important dialogue and help shape the future of the green hydrogen market between Germany and Denmark

The European green hydrogen market is at a critical juncture to deliver on ambitions and maintain political and commercial momentum. Denmark as a producer of competitive and reliable green hydrogen and derivatives, and Germany as a large offtaker with a myriad of applications, represents one of the strongest cases for green hydrogen in Europe. Shifting market dynamics and evolving political landscapes highlight the need for strong German-Danish industry collaboration to bring industry and policymakers from both countries together and establish a cross-border market for green hydrogen, which promotes industrial competitiveness, energy-independence, and green growth.

The upcoming Danish EU Presidency presents a unique opportunity to prioritize green hydrogen acceleration, ensuring European industrial competitiveness and achieving the 2030 decarbonization targets.

The German - Danish Green Hydrogen Forum is a new initiative, which builds on years of industry collaboration in the existing Danish PtX-Partnership and a series of discussions between key German and Danish stakeholders. We will advance the "German - Danish Green Hydrogen Offtake Declaration" through structured discussions focusing on establishing a world-leading green hydrogen market between Germany and Denmark.

This event will kick-start the German-Danish Green Hydrogen Forum and introduce three working arenas:

  • Policy dialogue and engagements with decision-makers
  • Market insights and analysis of green hydrogen development
  • Regional collaboration and growth
