Growing opportunities in wind, solar, hydrogen and infrastructure underpinned by official partnership

Background
Brazil is positioning itself as a key player in the global green transition – not only as the host of COP30, but also through its ambitious goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. With a vision of becoming a green energy hub, Brazil is placing strong emphasis on expanding its renewable energy portfolio.

Offshore wind is emerging as a national priority, where regulatory frameworks are gradually taking shape and efforts are underway to develop the necessary infrastructure, including ports. At the same time, Brazil is investing heavily in clean hydrogen – leveraging its abundant and largely untapped wind and solar resources, alongside existing hydropower reserves, to position itself as a global supplier of future fuels.

This session will shed light on the growing opportunities in the Brazilian market and how Danish companies can play a key role in this transition. The session is rounded off by a presentation of current tenders for offshore wind energy in Colombia.
