Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS)

13.15-14.00

Emerging export opportunities in partner countries

Background
CCUS is a core technology in Denmark’s green transition towards the 70 percent reduction target, and onwards to climate neutrality. The Danish ecosystem has unique conditions for capturing, utilising, and storing CO₂, and we are among the frontrunners in carbon storage.

We wish to look beyond our borders, as many Danish companies have unique solutions for capture, storage, and utilization. With this workshop we will explore how to make CCUS a successful export case for Denmark. The workshop will primarily have a global focus, with just one deep dive focusing on the opportunities and framework conditions in Germany.
