Wind Energy – State of the World
10.30-11.15
State of the World seen from a Wind Energy perspective
The past years have brought unparalleled shifts in geopolitics and wind energy markets, with escalating trade tensions and evolving energy policies reshaping global demand for wind technology. Uncertainties in the US onshore and especially offshore markets have emerged alongside mounting competition from especially China, putting pressure on the European value chain. In this session, we will map recent developments in key regions—Europe, North America, and Asia—analyzing how political market dynamics affect project pipelines and procurement strategies. We will highlight urgent challenges for Danish exporters, from tariff disputes to shifting subsidy regimes, and dissect how these impacts translate into business risk and - more importantly – business opportunities.
