Energy Efficiency in Buildings – Germany
11.45-12.30
Strong market outlook – driven by EPBD and German policies
Germany is accelerating efforts to improve the energy performance of buildings, driven by resilience and affordability efforts, security concerns and the implementation of the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). With a large and ageing building stock, the German market represents significant opportunities for companies delivering energy efficient solutions and technologies for buildings.
On this backdrop, The Trade Council in Germany has launched a new partnership project focusing on energy efficiency of public buildings. The aim of the project is to create concrete export opportunities based on the requirement for EU member states to renovate three percent of public buildings.
Danish industry has strong capabilities within energy renovations and indoor environmental quality. As Germany scales up its renovation efforts and strengthens policy frameworks for energy efficiency, Danish companies are well positioned to contribute with proven technologies and system solutions.
Join this workshop to:
• Gain insights into the German market for energy efficient building solutions.
• Learn about the implementation of the EPBD and the emerging political priorities in Germany.
• Hear perspectives from Danish companies with hands-on experience from the German market.
