Opportunities in Netherland’s strong wind expansion
Based on Dutch offshore wind targets, the Netherlands’ offshore wind capacity is expected to quadruple over the next four years - from 4.7 GW at present to 21 GW in 2030. Much still remains to be done and significant opportunities are arising.
Following two postponed tenders in 2025, the Dutch government has announced a CfD scheme for tenders from 2027 onwards and planned two tenders with an interim subsidy model for November and December 2026.
