Energy Efficiency in Industry in China
Webinar on Tuesday 30 November 2021 at 9.00 – 10.30 (DK time) / 16.00 – 17.30 (CN time)
China’s government has recently announced the most ambitious climate targets in the country’s history. China, the world’s biggest emitter of CO2, now aims to have CO2 emissions peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
Improving energy efficiency in industry is a significant part of this effort. The energy intensive companies in China are under great pressure to improve their energy efficiency. Both to improve climate and local environmental impact and to reduce cost and dependency on imported fuels. Further, there is a need to improve the security of supply as even lighter production suffers from power shortages and power rationing.
The Danish Trade Council in China, together with Danish companies and a large Chinese consulting company has analyzed a large Chinese industry company and explored the opportunities for increasing their energy efficiency using Danish solutions. This webinar will present the result with the aim to inform and inspire more Danish companies to participate in this growing market.
Listen to experts, business representatives and other decision makers giving their assessment and discussing the potentials – and join the conversation.
