Breakfast Meeting with the Nordic Food Industry
The food and drink industry federations from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden have the pleasure to invite all MEPs from all Nordic Member States for a breakfast meeting on 25 September, hosted by MEP Asger Christensen.
Please join us for a nice breakfast, learn more about our industry, and take the opportunity to meet Nordic food companies.
Food producers in the Nordic region share the same challenges, such as competitiveness, sustainable and healthy food systems, innovation, food security and the need for a better functioning of the food chain. But we also have many common ideas on what to aim for in the new EU term and the next phase of European food policy.
Please find attached our joint paper on challenges and priorities for our industry that you will be briefed about at the meeting, and we will be happy to hear your views and any questions you may have.
