Biotech Leadership Forum
Join DANISH BIO and DI Life Science on June 16 for a senior industry forum focused on strengthening the framework conditions for pharmaceutical biotech in Denmark
The ambition of the forum is to convene leading voices from across Danish biotech, including founders, CEOs, investors, and key ecosystem players, to define a clear and actionable path for how Denmark can strengthen its position as a leading life science cluster, including perspectives on Innovation District Copenhagen.
In the first part of the programme, Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen, CEO of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, will share his perspective on what it will take for the Danish ecosystem to fully realise its potential.
Professor Sir John Bell, a leading champion of the life science industry and a driving force behind Oxford’s innovation ecosystem, will offer insights from the UK.
The keynotes will be followed by a panel discussion on strengthening pharmaceutical biotech in Denmark, featuring Annemarie Munk Riis, CEO at Innovation District Copenhagen, Christian Elling, SVP at The Lundbeck Foundation, Christine Nellemann, Provost at DTU, and Adam Steensberg, CEO at Zealand Pharma.
The forum will conclude with focused breakout sessions exploring key barriers and opportunities for pharmaceutical biotech, where your perspective will be an important contribution.
The insights from these sessions will inform Danish Industry’s advocacy efforts and contribute to concrete policy recommendations that a new biotech network will take forward.
There will be ample opportunity to network, and participation does not require membership of Danish Industry.
Participation is by invitation only. Due to limited capacity, registration will close once all seats are filled.
