Video: No alternative to an ambitious climate policy
It’s urgent that we start limiting CO2 emissions, says Director at the Confederation of Danish Industry, Tine Roed. She hosted a debate last week with a number of Danish business executives and DI’s German sister organisation Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie (BDI).
Germany can reduce 80% of its CO2 emissions with the technology available today. But it requires major investments, shows a study from BDI that was presented at a meeting at DI last week.
“It’s possible for us to reach targets before 2050. Danish business is in a strong position. But it requires that we’re innovative and that we invest,” says Director Tine Roed, DI.
Business executives who attended the meeting hope for an ambitious climate policy in both Denmark, the EU and internationally.
