DI in the U.S.

To support Danish companies' growth and success in the United States, DI has offices in Washington D.C. and New York City.

The United States is the largest export market for Danish companies outside the European Union. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)from Denmark to the United States is increasing just like an increasing number of Danish companies have established themselves in the country.

DI’s US presence

The economic interaction with the United States benefits Denmark. Danish companies establish themselves in the United States to be close to consumers, to be part of an industry knowledge hub, or to attract talent.

In New York City DI advises and supports Danish companies on business development, establishing operations, visibility and commercialisation of Danish solutions.

And in Washington D.C. DI’s political representation in close collaboration with the Danish Embassy provides assistance and guidance to Danish companies on trade policy issues such as tariffs and sanctions and energy and climate policy.
