DISTRICT ENERGY

Presentations and dialogue with experts from companies, embassies and institutions

District energy is climate friendly and a strong factor in promoting energy efficiency and reducing waste of energy. District heating enables the integration of increased shares of renewables into the system and it enables flexible and intelligent solutions at customer level.

Denmark is among the global leaders in the use of district energy and in the development and export of innovative and yet greener and more efficient and digitized solutions in this area. Danish energy authorities, utilities and industry are collaborating in promoting this collective and efficient energy conveyor system.

We look at new and promising opportunities and activities in Germany, Poland, and France – countries where the potential is huge and where public-private collaboration makes a difference.
