A new fighter on the field
January 15, 2020, the first Danish pilot flew the F-35 Fighter and yesterday the first Danish F-35 Fighter was rolled out from the production line at Lockheed Martin's fabric in Texas.
The F-35 is replacing the older F-16 and the first F-35 will hit Danish ground in April 2021. From 2021 until 2026 The Danish Defence will receive 26 F-35 in total, which is a great achievement for The Danish Armed Forces. It will support our ability to protect Denmark and furthermore create opportunities for participation in international operations.
